Description

Zaditen SRO is an extended release oral tablet consisting of an antiasthma medication called ketotifen. We carry this medication in the brand choice in 2mg.

Zaditen SRO is prescribed along with other medications to help control asthma. When used regularly, this medication can help reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of asthma attacks; it may also help with a reduction in necessary daily asthma medications. This medication should not be used to help treat an asthma attack that has already begun; you will need a short-acting asthma inhaler to help with acute asthma attacks.

Zaditen SRO (ketotifen) is effective at reducing the frequency, severity, and duration of asthma attacks because of its ability to inhibit the substances in the body that are known to cause inflammation and symptoms of asthma.

Your doctor will tell you before prescribing you Zaditen SRO (ketotifen) exactly how to take this medication. Follow his or her directions, they can usually be found on the prescription label if you forget. This medication is most effective when used every day; create a routine by taking the tablet at the same time each day and using a pillbox or setting a reminder on your phone or in your calendar.

Typically, you would take one 2MG tablet per day. You may take the tablets with or without food; however it is directed by your doctor.

Store this medication in a closed container (ensure the lid is on tightly when not in use) at room temperature, away from risks of moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
