This medication is used to treat lesions caused by rosacea, a common skin inflammatory disorder. There are four types of rosacea; facial redness, acne rosacea, rhinophyma (thickening of the skin of the nose), and ocular (eye). This medication may help to decrease symptoms caused by rosacea, such as redness, swelling, and pimples.

In some cases, this topical medication is also prescribed Ivermectin to treat parasites in the intestines, river blindness, scabies, and lice on the head and in the pubic area.

How does Soolantra Cream work?

Soolantra Cream is a topical medication that contains an active ingredient called Ivermectin. The Ivermectin dosage in this medication is a macrocyclic lactone, which has both anti-inflammatory and antiparasitic qualities, and works by increasing the amount of chloride that flows into the parasite’s nervous system, which ultimately paralyzes and kills the parasite.

Before using Soolantra Cream, read all the instructions and paper work that given to you by your pharmacist. Clean the affected area with a mild soap or soap-free cleanser and pat dry.
