Description

Pramox HC cream is a topical medication consisting of a combination of a steroid and an anesthetic, called hydrocortisone and pramoxine. We carry the brand choice of this medication!

Pramox HC cream is used to treat itching and discomfort caused by a variety of skin conditions, such as allergic reactions, eczema, minor burns, insect bites, or other skin conditions. The steroid in this medicine is called hydrocortisone and it helps by reducing the actions of chemicals in the body that cause the inflammation while the anesthetic, called pramoxine, helps by interfering with pain signals sent from the nerves to the brain, this will allow a “numbing” effect which stops the body from feeling the pain.

Before applying the cream, ensure you wash your hands and dry them thoroughly. Use only a small amount of cream on the affected area and gently rub it into the skin.
