Description

What is Finacea Gel used for?

Finacea Gel is a topical medication that is prescribed to treat mild to moderate rosacea. Rosacea is a skin condition that causes long-term inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, and/or eyelids, with increased redness or acne-like eruptions in these areas of the face.

Some people use azelaic to treat acne scarring in addition to active outbreaks. Azelaic acid encourages cell turnover, which is a way to reduce how severe scarring appears. It also prevents what’s known as melanin synthesis, the ability of your skin to produce pigments that can vary your skin’s tone.

You can buy Finacea Gel (Azelaic Acid) online at My Drug Center. We currently do not have the Finacea Gel generic alternative available for purchase.

How does Finacea work?

Finacea is a topical gel containing Azelaic Acid, a naturally occurring acid. The Azelaic Acid dosage in the medication works by killing bacteria and helping the skin renew itself more quickly. It clears the pores of bacteria that may be causing the irritation or breakouts. Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid found in grains such as barley, wheat, and rye.

Before taking Finacea Gel, read all the instructions and paper work that given to you by your pharmacist. Apply and rub in a thin film of the topical gel twice daily, morning and evening, to the entire affected area after washing. For some strengths of Finacea Gel topical, your doctor may advise you to apply a thin film once daily to the affected area.

Make sure you take it at the same time each day to create a routine for yourself and to ensure an even spread of the Azelaic Acid dosage in your system. This medication should be applied on a regular basis to have optimal results. The Finacea Gel dosage that you use will depend on your condition and your age. Use the Finacea Gel dosage exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not change or increase your dose without consulting your doctor first.
