Is this medication safe for children?
Ultraquin Cream is safe for children who are at least 12 years of age. Anyone younger than 12 is should not be given this medication unless specially directed to by a doctor.
Would a pediatric patient need to use less of the medication than an adult?
The recommended dose is the same for both adults and children 12+; apply to affected areas twice a day, usually morning and night.
Can I drink alcohol while using this medication?
There is no interaction between alcohol and Ultraquin Cream however that does not mean an interaction cannot occur. Speak with your doctor about alcohol consumption during the time of treatment.
What should I avoid while using Ultraquin Cream?
You should avoid using anything that may irritate your skin; some examples may include harsh soaps, shampoos, or skin cleansers, hair coloring or permanent chemicals, hair removers or waxes, or skin products with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime.
